Advertising on BerkshireHiking.com:
There are 2 options to advertise on Berkshire Hiking. 1) Berkshire Hiking uses an affiliate ad program called Google Ads. It matches businesses with websites automatically. An example of affiliate ad placement on Berkshire Hiking can be seen just to the right of this paragraph as well as the top and bottom sections of this web page; "Ads by Google" appear under the ads. It's my hope to attract businesses that involve hiking or outdoor activities (gear, lodging, restaurants, info, etc.) If you sign up for Google Ads you can request BerkshireHiking.com website as one of the websites you would like to advertise on (www.google.com/ads).

The process is straightforward and easily understood but please feel free to email me if you have any questions about Google Ads on Berkshire Hiking. Berkshire Hiking can not gaurantee placement on its site since Berkshire Hiking cannot control that aspect of Google Ads. But so far, it seems to work quite well. If this doesn't interest you for any reason then option number two exists. 2) If the Google Ad option doesn't interest you or you would like 100% guaranteed 24 hour, 7 days a week, all year, placement on a particular Berkshire Hiking web page, contact Berkshire Hiking directly and work out a one-to-one transaction to put your banner or text advertisement on a particular page. This one-to-one option is more expensive than Google Ads but it's not necessarily expensive as our rates are much cheaper than print ads such as local newspapers or magazines. You'd get permanent, gauranteed placement on the page you requested. Google Ad program is a very affordable option and will get you listed on many sites not just Berkshire. But doing direct advertising on Berkshire Hiking with me, will gaurantee that your banner or text advertisement will always appear exactly where you want it, and the length of the contract.
